Manna Mission Inc. was founded by Rev. Dr. Seth M. Ablorh, and his wife whilst they were in the United States of America. Dr. Seth Ablorh accepted Jesus Christ when he was in high school in Ghana in 1973. That same year he lost his father.

After completing his pre-university academic preparation in Ghana, he received a seven year medical scholarship offered by the USSR government. As a foreign student in Russia he was actively involved in the underground churches of Krasnodar and Voronezh. His uncompromising faith in God and relentless determination to share the gospel of our Lord and master Jesus Christ led to the withdrawal of his scholarship and subsequent repatriation to Ghana by the Soviet Government.

Dr. Ablorh later attended the Tennessee State University in Nashville and later received an MD degree from the former Oral Robert University School of medicine, Tulsa in 1985. He later conducted his residency training in family practice in Saint Elizabeth Hospital in Chicago Illinois. The Ablorh’s relocated to Ghana in 1989 to pioneer the programs of Manna Mission. The ministry today is on the cutting edge of evangelism and medical mission in Ghana.
